Clients with communicable conditions may need to be rescheduled until such time as the condition has cleared. Sessions may be moved to a future date if any concerning symptoms or contraindications to services are present.
Please give as much notice as possible when cancelling an appointment. If you or anyone in your household has been sick within 48 hours of your appointment (cold, flu, fever, etc.), please contact me, and let’s get you rescheduled. It’s much better for you to stay home than to come in when feeling ill. Also, your symptoms will most likely be contraindicated to having any services performed. I will happily reschedule you to a later date and time when it’s convenient for you. Clients arriving late will receive a shorter session in order to remain on schedule, and the session is charged the full amount.
Complementary therapies and wellness services are generally not covered by insurance, but you may be able to submit a claim, as Health Savings Accounts or Health Flex Accounts may offer some coverage. I will gladly provide you with invoices to submit for reimbursement upon request.
Client privacy is taken very seriously. All information is bound to confidentiality by the Standards of Practice of the American Massage Therapy Association. No information about any client will be discussed or shared with any third party without written consent of the client. Intake information, which is gathered in writing for the purposes of screening for potential contraindications and selecting appropriate services for the client, is stored securely and appropriately destroyed as requested.

Massage is vital to health and wellbeing. Countless studies have proven the health benefits of massage again and again. Massage boosts the immune system, lowers blood pressure, speeds recovery after surgery, improves focus, decreases the risk of heart disease, and in some cases can even more helpful for low back pain than NSAIDS and chiropractic care. It’s not just “a massage” or just “reflexology” — it’s therapy.
Physicians, nurses, physical therapists, or other providers have never been tipped, and while still a nurse and therapist, it goes against my beliefs to accept monetary tips or gifts. The best “tip” I could receive is seeing you again and seeing you feeling better! Even leaving a review on Google or mentioning me to a friend who could benefit from my services is so appreciated!
